I am honoured to be the ISA Edmonton Section’s FIRST female president. Humbly, I hope to promote inclusivity and attract many aspiring professionals to the automation world and to ISA Edmonton where we empower each other, catapult learning experiences, and continue to be one of the strongest Sections globally. On that note, I cordially invite you all to attend our Women in Automation Panel this spring.
Looking forward, from industrial to enterprise applications, automation continues to be transformational, ushering in a new era of unparalleled potential. Let’s embrace the future of digital transformation and together “build a better world through automation". Dive in with us at the end of October when we hear about Shell’s Robotic Dogs (Robotic Process Automation) at our Technical Talk.
As our leader, I will do my best to support the successful history of ISA Edmonton Section’s continued offerings: like the Alberta Directory of Automation (congratulations on 30 years!), AEC (Automation Expo & Conference) and our Fall Classic Golf Tournament, while embracing emerging automation solutions.
I would like to thank the ISA for the countless benefits it affords me. From leadership opportunities to professional development, strategic career growth to mentorship, technical advancement to networking, and most importantly, for the friendships I’ve made – ISA Edmonton Section will bolster your journey.
