The ISA Edmonton Section invites you to our 2021 AGM & Networking Hour!
We'll kick this complimentary event off with a joint welcome address from both Arthur Kloc, ISA Edmonton Section 2020/2021 President, and Ryan Warrington, ISA Calgary Section 2020/2021 President.
Then get ready for a belly-aching laugh-out-loud headliner performance by Alberta's very own, Andrew Grose! We think we could all use a little comic-relief (or a lot) as we navigate through year two of a pandemic.
Following this, we'll continue with our breakout sessions; attend the ISA Edmonton Section AGM (the ISA Calgary Section AGM will be happening simultaneously), which will include the introduction of our 2021/2022 Board, a review of financials, a question & answer period, and an awards presentation. We'll only be about 30 minutes...
...then the real fun begins with an Alberta-wide combined ISA Calgary Section & ISA Edmonton Section networking hour - how fun :)
The Networking feature is one of our favourite things about our virtual event platform. It’s personal, fun, and seamless. Attendees are automatically paired for a 1-on-1 video "blind speed date" that can last a maximum of three minutes. Once in the Networking tab all you need to do is click the “Ready” button, Hopin will then search for someone of the “opposite” ticket type that's also clicked the "ready" button; the two are matched instantly and the speed date video chat begins. Both participants will see a 3-minute countdown timer on the top of their screen - when the time is up, the speed date automatically ends (you can also click “leave” at any time after 15 seconds). Interactions (aka: "Speed Dates") are NOT recorded. Once you have a speed date with someone you won’t be matched with that person again.
