Hopin Virtual Event Platform
Come one, come all! Calling everyone (professionals and students) in the northern Alberta automation industry to join us for our ISA Edmonton Section Industry Night. Happening virtually and for the first time ever... the spotlight will be on 8 industry experts in a sequential series of 5 minute fireside chats. Then we'll kick back further and get reconnected during the one-on-one networking. There is NO OTHER local event that provides an opportunity like this to engage with our industry.
Learn more about the companies that our experts work for and their jobs. Plus find out what's new and exciting in terms of what they're working on. When it comes to industry trends, what they think is hot right now and their predictions for the future.
After the panel discussion, time-permitting, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions (via our virtual event platform's chat function).

The Networking feature is one of our favourite things about our virtual event platform. It’s personal, fun, and seamless. Once in the Networking tab all you need to do is click the “Ready” button for a 1-on-1 video "blind speed date" that can last a maximum of three minutes. Hopin will then search for someone that's available and the video chat will start instantly. Both participants will see a 3-minute countdown timer on the top of their screen - when the time is up, the speed date automatically ends (you can also click “leave” at any time after 15 seconds). Interactions (aka: "Speed Dates") are NOT recorded. Once you have a speed date with someone you won’t be matched with that person again.
4:15pm - Login & familiarize yourself with the platform.
4:30pm - Fireside Chats (will take place in the "Stage" tab).
5:15pm to 6:00pm - One on one networking (will take place in the "Networking" tab).
This event takes place on Hopin (our virtual event platform). Instructions on how to access the event will be emailed to all registrants prior to the event.
