The ISA Edmonton Section is delighted to be kicking off the 2018/2019 monthly event calendar with a Technical Talk & Tour at Enerkem Alberta Biofuels!
This innovative cutting-edge company is something that Edmonton can be very proud of... Enerkem Alberta Biofuels is the world's first major collaboration between a large city and an innovative waste-to-biofuels producer. Their exclusive thermochemical process addresses the non-recyclable and non-compostable waste disposal challenge by turning household waste destined for landfills into clean biofuels and green chemicals, like ethanol and methanol.
Our Technical Talk & Tour will kick-off with a facility overview from Brian Mills, Plant Manager. We will also get a more in-depth understanding of their process controls when we hear from and converse with their Technical Experts. Our evening will wind-up with a walking tour of the plant.
