Mentorship Program Overview
The ISA Edmonton Section Mentorship Program has been established to help mentees build and grow a career in automation. Please note: for our 2020/2021 year, we've made some adjustments to this program due to a delay in getting started because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is five months long and runs from February to June (normally it runs from November to June on a yearly basis). Mentees are paired with a mentor that has experience in the mentee’s area(s) of interest.
Mentees have the opportunity to establish a relationship with their mentor and to create an automation industry confidante (please note: this is not a career placement program). Mentors may be willing to give mentees a reference letter at the end of the program (upon request and at the mentor's discretion).
The ISA Edmonton Section Mentorship Program includes the following milestones:
Reminders about the above milestones will be emailed to mentees and mentors.
For the time-being, meetings will take place virtually.
Mentees are responsible for the following:
Whether you’re an automation professional looking to grow your career or you’re thinking about starting a career in automation, ISA Edmonton’s mentorship program can help you! We’ll connect you with a mentor that has experience in your specific area of interest.
Are you looking to give back to the automation industry? Why not consider being an ISA mentor? The ISA Edmonton Section is currently looking for volunteer mentors.
