Join the ISA Edmonton Section on Monday, October 30, for an in-depth Technical Talk about Shell's Robotic Dogs, Drones & More!
Technical Talk Overview
In 2020, Shell Scotford Complex added two new members to its "pack" - to handle both risky and mundane tasks. May we introduce one of their Boston Dynamics robot dogs, Gadget...
Cheryl Stewart, Senior Industrial Hygienist SCT Canada at the Shell Scotford Complex, will be bringing this pup to show it off and talk about the robotic process and automation involved. Each pooch is 65 pounds and uses remote operation and autonomous sensing to help with data collection and inspections.
Plus, Cheryl will touch on Shell's adoption of drones, other robots and more technological advances, in this Technical Talk.
We'll wrap with a fireside chat led by Shreya Nandiraju, our ISA Edmonton Section President, and audience Q&A.
