Manufacturing Technical Tour

Join the ISA Edmonton Section on Monday, October 30, for a presentation + technical tour of Packers Plus Energy Services - celebrating over a decade of innovation! Packers Plus provides solutions for technically challenging applications in horizontal, vertical, multi-lateral and high pressure/high temperature (HPHT) wells.
The presentation will cover their manufacturing facility: facts and figures, strengths with ISO and API Q1 certification, 5S/lean processes PPW (Packers Plus Way), and 1st class safety culture. It will also touch on their next vision/goals, which is looking into the possibility of implementing the digital factory and Industry 4.0.
The tour will showcase both manual and automated processes which include paperless documentation handling, use of automation for warehousing, assembly, testing and QC, as well as traceability and identification of all components in the system.

Meeting Area: Enter through the main entrance of t building and you will be directed on where to go from there.
